We offer physical, occupational, speech-language and feeding therapy, as well as augmentative and alternative communication.Pediatric Speech-Language PathologistThis position is a full-time, salaried role in Casa Grande, AZ. Competitive sign-on bonusEight paid holidays annually80 hours of paid time off during the first year16 hours of personal float time each year56 hours of sick leaveContinuing Education Units 401k with company matchingComprehensive benefits packageNo weekend commitmentsResponsibilities:Review hearing or speech and language test results, barium swallow results, or medical or background information to diagnose and plan treatment for speech, language, fluency, voice or swallowing disordersAdminister speech and language evaluations tests, or examinations to patients to collect information on type and degree of impairments, using written or oral tests or special instrumentsWrite reports and maintain proper documentation of information, such as patient billing records or caseload activities, including the initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge of clientsDevelop or implement treatment plans for problems such as articulation/phonology, delayed language, social communication, stuttering, feeding/swallowing disorders, voice problems and augmentative and alternative communication based on own assessments and recommendations of physicians, psychologists, or social workers school, or community settings with pediatric patients and coordinate speech-language therapy with other therapeutic activitiesSelect activities that will help pediatric patients learn activities of daily living within limits of their mental and physical capabilitiesEducate and train a patient's family and caregivers about how to accommodate and care for their patientEvaluate a patient's home, daycare, or school environment and identify how it can be better suited to the patient's needs and capabilitiesQualifications:Master of Science/Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university Arizona Speech-Language Pathology license CFs welcome to applyPediatric experience (preferred)Sevita is a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care.
