Summary: Responsible for timely recruitment, screening, and enrollment of qualified study participants for ongoing research studies and for supporting recruitment-related administrative and outreach efforts. Performs duties in accordance with company’s values, policies, and procedures. This position is full-time, 100% remote, and requires some weekend availability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Speaks professionally to potential study participants to obtain and input accurate and complete demographic and medical information into the Volunteer Database (VDB). Communicates study details and procedures, addresses questions and concerns, and determines study eligibility based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Schedules screening appointments for pre-qualified study participants and follows complete screening appointment wrap-up procedures. Updates information from study participant global files into the VDB. Participates in community outreach programs (health fairs, interactions with local professionals, and community advocacy and service groups). Contributes to the completion of recruitment plan milestones. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, Work Instructions (WIs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), medical terminology, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred. Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the current MS Office Suite and knowledge of media and graphics programs. Study Participant Recruiter II will also require intermediate knowledge of VDB and InContact system. Senior Study Participant Recruiters should have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, VDV, and InContact system.
