Production Control Assistant

Communicate daily with Leads, Supervisors, Managers, and Customers regarding parts status, off units, and other related material issues that may affect the timeliness of redelivering the aircraft. Perform routine and specialized clerical support duties in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Qualified and proficient in all required customer data entry systems and portals.

Data enters work packages accurately, in a timely manner, on a consistent basis. Performs technical Audit of work packages for accuracy, in a timely manner

Interfaces with Production, Buyers, and the Customer Representatives to maintain a continuous flow of information on aircraft parts status. Responsible for data entry into the ERP System (EMX) for "non-stocked" parts required for their assigned program. Coordinates off unit dispositions to be sent out for repair in a timely manner.

Assists Program Managers and Line Supervisors by monitoring the time clocked to tasks for accurate billable hours. Informs the Line Supervisor of items such as man hours exceeding task estimate and allocated materials left over on closed tasks that affect the overall budget.

Liaison between NSA and the Customer for processing and approval of parts requiring expediting fees such as AOG or Priority.

Works in tandem with the Planning Department to add items to the work scope including engineering items and task additions affecting the work order.

Monitors arrival status of ordered parts daily, coordinating with a designated Purchaser in order to expedite any parts procurement issues that are necessary.

Ensure all paperwork is accounted for at shift end.

Attaches material certificates to work cards as necessary. Ensuring the ERP system is correct and updated

Coordinate with the customer the immediate return of all off units removed during maintenance providing the shipping department with all the pertinent information.

Maintains a running tally of audited paperwork.

Scans work packages creating repair station record of maintenance.

Files work cards and non-routine work cards accurately and in a timely manner.

Provides a shift turnover via e-mail daily highlighting any impending action items.

Prepares completed records (work package) to be shipped to the customer per the applicable RSQCM

Ensures a safe work environment

Key support within maintenance work booth to assist in updating reports, document control and informing Leads, Line Supervisor, and Program Manager of needed document corrections.

Follows process and procedures laid out for this position in the Standard Operating Procedures Manual, and all controlled work booth and safety procedures and wears/uses appropriate safety equipment for the work being performed (as required).

Works closely with the Project Manager as tasks are closed to disposition all unused, left over parts including requesting an RMA.

Performs other duties as assigned.
