About The Role

Currie & Brown is looking for a construction document controls specialist to support projects within our Tech sector in Bowling Green, KY. The successful candidate will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining current RFI register and tracking RFI through closure.
  • Maintaining submittal register and tracking submittals through comment and approval processes.
  • Owning and maintaining the project-specific document control worksheet capturing RFIs, submittals and associated responses/comments and approvals.
  • Communicating changes and/or updates to appropriate stakeholders as necessary.
  • Preparing and reviewing the final soft copies of documentation, reviewing completion and adherence to comments as appropriate.
  • Ensuring that all appropriate documents are posted to the required tool and assisting stakeholders as necessary.
  • Tracking and validating approvals of hard/soft copy documentation from appropriate stakeholders.
  • Understanding and following document control best practices and client specific contractual requirements.
  • Providing status communication to the project team of all documentation workflows in scope.
Skills / Attributes
  • A minimum of five (5) years' of experience in construction related document controls.
  • Experience working on large complex oil & gas, manufacturing, high tech or industrial projects preferred.
  • Aconex or similar platform experience preferred.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products (MS Word, Excel).
  • Good time management and communication skills.
  • Well-organized, diligent, proactive, assertive and well-disciplined.
