Who You Are

The Quality Control Document Clerk will assist the QC Manager in the quality of product produced by organizing documentation, certifications, quality control manuals, and other various office tasks. You will be required to help the QC Manager stay updated on all state inspection requirements and propose and implement needed changes.

Responsibilities

•Organize and compile material test reports and material certifications for all projects

•Review material certifications and verify physical and chemical properties

•Multi-task and complete material certification packages on time and as required

•Verify heat numbers and material certification packages in shop/yard as needed

•Contact and schedule third party inspectors as requested

•Communicate and coordinate with sales, shipping, and production as needed

•Data entry

•Scanning inspection documents and inspection reports

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Ability to input data and file inspection documents and inspection reports into proprietary software programs

  • Must demonstrate consistent dependability and punctuality

Environment: Job requires outdoor walking work and indoor in all weather conditions with extreme temperatures. Majority of work is done indoors in a heated area or air conditioned office, working around numerous types of machinery (forklifts, cranes ect.)
