MRM is looking for an Associate Creative Director, Copy to join our growing team. This person serves as the copy lead for a large piece of healthcare professional (HCP) and direct to consumer (DTC) business and inspires creative excellence among our creative team. The Associate Creative Director provides leadership to art directors and copywriters, along with the Creative Director. They work closely with cross-functional disciplines in delivering and exceeding client expectations. The ideal candidate is passionate about healthcare and fosters creative inspiration and fresh ideation for their team.

About the Job

* Serve as the copy expert for the brand(s) across HCP and DTC business, including producing promotional material for social, CRM, digital, experiential, and print

* Serve as creative team leader to whom others can look to for direction and solutions

* Develop and produce creative concepts through execution

* Bring a fresh approach to day-to-day projects to inspire direct reports and clients alike

* Proactively suggest creative strategies to ensure copy team delivers high quality, accurate work that follows all regulatory guidelines

* Provides insight and expertise about the brands, disease states, clinical trials and data, and competitive products, as well as on all relevant media and technology

* Work with all functional areas to ensure the work is expressing a compelling single-minded idea

* Participate in client presentations, verbalizing the thoughts behind the idea while tying it back to the communication/design objective

* Take an active role in client discussions and internal and external meetings to ensure creative and strategic alignment

* Help client(s) understand and internalize criteria by which creative product should be assessed

* Manage the successful financial landscape for assigned brands, including reviewing, and providing input on scopes, hours, and staff

* Identify staffing needs and potential new hire recruits

* Supervises direct reports; oversees workload, schedules, assignments, and creative output; provides regular feedback, gives performance reviews, and aids in career development

* Help shape the careers of assigned direct reports and stand as a strong mentor inspiring award-winning creative excellence

* Stay up to date on latest trends, talent, and competitive work

* Support Creative Director in all requests

About You

* 7+ years of pharmaceutical copy supervisory experience within a fast-paced agency setting

* Healthcare professional (HCP) copywriting experience is a must; direct-to-consumer (DTC) added plus

* Strong capability writing for social platforms and CRM

* Compelling portfolio included with your application

* Previous leadership experience

* Solid presentations skills

* Proven ability to engage in creative conversations internally and with clients

* Motivated to seek/gain additional creative opportunities and/or work on new business pitches

* Proactive about expanding knowledge of trends so you can share new ideas with your team
