In this role, the Pricing Analyst will support the rate design process to ensure that OTP can continue to serve our customers and meet our mission.

Some examples of those activities will include:

  • Analyze and create rate designs to support new and existing customer rates and pricing contracts
  • Design and construct computer models needed to analyze the potential impact new rates and rate changes have on the electric utility company and the effect on targeted customers.
  • Develop and deliver oral and/or written testimony in support of filings and/or rate cases
  • Achieve Commission approval of new rates, modifications to existing rates, and individual pricing contracts

Qualifications:

  • A working knowledge of the following will be ideal to maximize this role’s impact and success:
    • Economics and theory of rate design, costing relationships and potential pricing impacts on customer groups
    • Regulatory rules, governing statutes and legal processes

  • To hit the ground running, foundational knowledge via a 4-year degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Marketing or Engineering or equivalent work experience is preferred.
