Job Title: Associate Recruiter

Reports To: Talent Acquisition Assistant Manager

Location: Williamstown, KY

Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Assistant Manager, the Associate Recruiter position holds the responsibility to recruit for the ministry. The goal of this role is to help fill the talent pipeline with qualified individuals from diverse candidate pools for Ark Encounter positions. This role functions as a partner with operational and business leaders to match potential and available talent with current and future employment opportunities. This position requires a well-organized, driven person, who can work in a fast-paced environment and is able to relate to individuals at all levels within the organization to achieve success. This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference. This position should display our Core Values of SERVE (Serve, Equip, Relate, Value, Engage) when interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion. This position provides opportunities for spiritual, personal, and professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.
  • Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done.
  • Approach all tasks with a second mile mindset.
  • Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments.
  • Assist with hiring steps in welcome classes for The Ark Encounter.
  • Assist with welcome classes for Answers in Genesis and Creation Museum on an as-needed basis.
  • Assist with the recruiting process for The Ark Encounter which includes screening resumes, interviewing, hiring, background checks, drug screens, onboarding, and any relocation agreements.
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with hiring managers to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results, and credibility.
  • Work with the Resident Manager and assist with housing for staff.
  • Participate in career fairs, networking events and recruiting events.
  • Ensure consistency of all internal and external job postings and job boards to ensure corporate branding initiatives.
  • Assist with scheduling and logistics of interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • And all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications

Required
  • Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith.
  • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church.
  • Knowledge and experience with AiG ministry.
  • At least 1 years in Talent Acquisition role or related field preferred
  • Ability to work in a face paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed for recruitment events.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma Required.
  • Preferred associate degree in business, Human Resource Management, or a related discipline.
  • Recruiting background, a plus.
  • Superb communication, interpersonal, and follow-up skills
  • Strong team player willing to assist with tasks, as needed.
  • Ability to multitask, be flexible, and work independently.
