Audio Visual Technician

Answers in Genesis Group is seeking a highly skilled AV Technician to provide technical support and services for our facilities, including the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum.

The AV Technician will be responsible for live event support, technical support, exhibit AV support, operation, and maintenance of all AV technology throughout our facilities. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

• Provide technical support for live events, including audio, video, and lighting.
• Support exhibit AV, VR troubleshooting and support, event audio, video, and lighting, and conference room AV support.
• Operate and maintain all AV equipment, including audio consoles, video projectors, and lighting systems.
• Collaborate with the AV Manager to ensure timely and effective equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Work closely with internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion.

• Minimum of 2 years of facility Audio/Visual installation and maintenance experience.
• Experience with Alcorn McBride, Crestron, and Christie Digital Projectors.
• Experience with Q-sys and Dante Digital Audio.
• Experience with ETC EOS Lighting control.
• Experience with Green-Hippo media servers and ProPresenter.
• Experience with Yamaha audio consoles and Shure wireless systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Some experience with servers and networking is a plus.

• A minimum of 2 years of live sound and lighting support experience.
• Touring, Concert, and Conference Audio and lighting experience.
• Any formal AV related training or degree is a benefit.
