Overview of Responsibilities:- Communicate effectively in order to resolve customer questions and
misunderstandings regarding services and patient balances. - Communicate with staff and other departments to help resolve account errors.
- Understand all hospital and physician charges billed.
- Understand the cash posting process and how it applies to patient bills.
- Be customer oriented and able to work under stressful conditions.
- Understand all patient accounting systems currently in use.
- Make independent decisions and solve problems.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Required to sit for extended periods of time depending on call volume.
Education/Experience:
Education Required: High School Graduate or GED equivalent
Experience Preferred: Previous customer experience preferred in a medical setting.
Licensure: none
Day Shift. 40 hours weekly. 8:30am- 5:00pm
