In the Service Delivery Low Voltage Drives Field Service Engineer role, you will support industrial automation products in an onsite field service capacity. We are looking for a Field Service Engineer. This position can be located in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana or Illinois. You'll make an impact by: Cognitive Flexibility – Support customers across traditional learning, support, service, and data analysis functions. Customer Focus – Deliver product and systems support including install, commissioning, maintenance, and evaluation of customer equipment and systems. Problem Solving – Use your critical thinking and detailed systems analysis to assess trace and diagnostic information. Active Learner – Learning & development is foundational as you seek to improve your own knowledge and skill set. Complex System Thinking – View systems or processes from a broad perspective. You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: 2-year technical degree in Mechatronics preferred, or equivalent controls automation experience. 2+ years’ experience with low voltage drives required. 2+ years’ experience in industrial automation and digitalization. Ability to travel up to 75%. Preferred qualifications: Experience with Sinamics AC or DC Drives and/or Masterdrives, SiMotion, and Siemens HMI systems. Professional know-how and experience in multiple roles: Field Service, Learning Services, Customer Support, and/or Data Analytics.
