The Role:

The Regional Sales Manager is directly responsible for sales within the Southwest. This role will be responsible for developing new accounts with solar installers, managing local distribution branches and creating a pipeline of opportunities to achieve financial goals. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal departments including finance, marketing, and customer support to ensure the best results for Meyer Burger.

Your contribution to our vision (responsibilities):
  • Deliver on a quota of $5-$10MM plus per annum.
  • Develop solar installers within territory to achieve goals; focusing on those partners, they will drive our technology and product differentiation with the end client.
  • Engage with Installers regularly providing training, marketing support, and direct sales support with end customer engagement opportunities.
  • Manage with internal support, the local distribution channels partnered with Meyer Burger. Drive to create opportunities to engage with new installers.
  • Manage CRM to foster a pipeline adequate to meet sales targets.
  • Regularly communicate with the relevant in-house interfaces including Inside Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance and leadership.
  • Prepare and deliver specific customer strategies, campaign plans, quotes and presentations, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Own the process for customer support during entire sales cycle including, but not limited to internal acceptance and approval of customer orders, working with internal logistics and fulfillment team to assure a smooth customer experience, handle and resolve more complex client requests.
  • Assist in implementing and executing monthly, quarterly and annual sales strategy.
  • Professional conduct during work hours and work activities.
  • Travel required 35-50%; regional and some national.
  • Other duties as assigned.
You bring:
  • Bachelors in Business Administration/Communication / Engineering or equivalent area or equivalent direct related work experience.
  • 2-5 years' experience selling into both direct and indirect channels.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time within the territory and nationally.
  • Experience as a team leader or having direct management experience a plus.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High level of self-management skills with relevant experience working in a remote territory environment.
  • A team-based, solution-focused approach and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Independent and self-organized.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
  • Long-term and loyal professional focus with a strong aim to grow personally and professionally within the Meyer Burger organization.
A Plus:
  • Previous experience working for or with international countries.
  • Bilingual/ Spanish or German.
