Accounts Payable Clerk

Transcendent Brands is a growing company that owns and operates drive?through coffee stands and car washes. Our Finance Department needs a team member to manage the day?to?day operations of accounts payable, vendor payments, and credit card management while supporting accounting and finance projects as we scale. Location: Littleton, MA | Salary: $71,000 - $90,000 Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, appropriate approvals, and timely entry into the accounting system. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders. Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with W?9 and 1099 requirements. Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers. Monitor AP aging and assist with cash flow planning. Credit Card Management Manage company credit card program, including issuance, employee compliance, and policy enforcement. Collect and review receipts and expense documentation from cardholders. Reconcile monthly credit card statements and allocate transactions to appropriate general ledger accounts. Project Management & Support Assist with financial and operational projects such as system implementations, process improvements, and reporting initiatives. Collaborate cross?functionally with departments like Operations, Real Estate, and Human Resources. Help document, improve AP, and credit card policies and procedures as the company grows. Qualifications 13 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Restaurant 365, or similar ERP systems). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Experience with credit card reconciliation and expense report processing a plus. Comfortable in a growing, evolving environmentopen to change and innovation. Supervision Reports directly to the Controller. This position has no direct reports. Physical Requirements Remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer. Communicate effectively with team members and vendors in person, by phone, and via email. Occasionally move about the office to retrieve files, office supplies, or attend meetings. Lift and carry items such as files, office materials, or small packages weighing up to approximately 20 pounds. Work Schedule Monday Friday, 9:00?am 5:00?pm EST. Fully in?person, office?based position. Work may require extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed to settle the accounting of events.
