Accounting ClerkWe are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Westborough, Massachusetts. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations and processes within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will excel in handling various accounting tasks while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Responsibilities:Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time.Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial records align with account balances.Utilize QuickBooks to manage and track financial data effectively.Review and code invoices to ensure proper documentation and compliance.Assist with reconciliation tasks, verifying and correcting discrepancies.Enter financial data into systems with precision and attention to detail.Generate reports and summaries to support financial decision-making.Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and processes.Maintain organized financial records for auditing and reporting purposes.Requirements:Proficiency in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks for accounting tasks.Ability to accurately code and process invoices.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members.Prior experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices.
