Position Summary

Primary function will be to review loans post closing; checking for accuracy and tracking missing documentation. Other functions include perfecting liens on collateral, organizing and binding files.

Essential Functions

Review all submitted loans for accuracy and compliance.

Perform daily maintenance of Non-Post items, consisting of loan payments, loan payoffs, and misc. loan payment posting.

Complete post-loan closing activities (forward loan payoffs to appropriate financial entities, follow up with Recorded Deeds of Trust, post loan incomplete documents on the tickler report, and follow up with title companies on any post-closing issues.

Produce loan documentation and submit completed loans into the bank's computer system.

Order appraisals for all lending personnel. Send bill to accounts payable and upload appraisal to scan system.

Communicate and coordinate with collection services on repossessions and collections.

Communicate and coordinate with attorneys on bankruptcy filings & foreclosures.

Scan and file loans.

Responsible for satisfactorily implementing all BSA Compliance duties as outlined by Progressive's BSA Officer during your new employee and annual BSA review training in accordance with your current position.

Other Responsibilities

Keep an accurate list of all consumer loan denials and withdrawals, and anything else that in your best judgment will help you do your job and serve our customers in a way that makes you proud to be a part of the team.

Responsible for complying with all regulatory compliance policies.

Responsible for upholding the organization's core culture and values.

Knowledge/Skill

Must possess good time management skills. Must be proficient with Microsoft application software. Must have a high attention to detail. Must be persistent and tenacious at times. Capable of typing 35+ wpm, have strong organizational and data entry skills. Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Consistently maintain a positive attitude and be a team player while supporting policies, procedures, and department goals.

Equipment Used

Personal computers, calculators, printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines. Will also need to become proficient at using the document scanning/tracking software.

Physical Requirements

Occasionally required to stand, sit, walk, reach, bend, stoop, crawl, use hands, climb stairs, balance, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Education and Work Experience

Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent. College degree a plus. One to two years experience preferred.
