**Job Description** Wilcox Health, which comprises Wilcox Medical Center and Kaua‘i Medical Clinic, is part of Hawai‘i Pacific Health, one of the state’s largest health care providers. Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible quality health care. The largest medical center on Kaua‘i, it is a state-of-the-art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs. Its 20-bed emergency department serves as the island’s Primary Stroke Center and Wilcox is the first American College of Surgeons-verified Level III Trauma Center in the state of Hawai‘i. Kaua‘i Medical Clinic is the island’s largest multispecialty medical group. More than 90 physicians and midlevel providers offer primary and specialty care at clinic locations in ʻEleʻele, Kapaʻa, Kōloa and Līhuʻe. Kaua‘i Medical Clinic also offers an Urgent Care Clinic in Līhuʻe with extended hours. In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination of events for Wilcox Health and the community benefit program for Wilcox Medical Center. You will provide administrative and logistical support for internal and external events and the community benefits program. This includes planning, coordinating, scheduling, tracking and the overall organization and flow of events and programs. You will develop and maintain relationships with strategic community partners and represent Hawai‘i Pacific Health to the community. You will also collaborate with the system-wide Community Benefits team to plan and conduct community benefit activities aligned with HPH community health improvement priorities. This position will juggle multiple tasks and develop relationships with businesses, individuals and organizations interested in partnering to support our activities and our mission to create a healthier Hawaii. We are looking for someone detail oriented, with excellent communication and organizational skills. **Location:** Wilcox Medical Center, Lihue, HI **Work Schedule:** Day - 8 Hours **Work Type:** Part Time Regular FTE: 0.500000 **Bargaining Unit:** Non-Bargaining **Exempt:** No **Minimum Qualifications:** Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid driver’s license and current Hawai‘i auto insurance. Two (2) years of experience in community outreach, event planning and coordination, customer service, or related experience. **Preferred Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree. Experience in coordinating events. Experience with supporting community advocacy initiatives. Experience in program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
