We are seeking an experienced Senior Subcontracts Administrator to join our client's team. As a key member of the procurement function, you will play a critical role in managing subcontract activities. Your expertise will contribute to successful contract execution and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate NDA’s and Teaming Agreements: Establish partnerships and collaboration.
  • Create Comprehensive RFP Packages: Develop detailed Request for Proposal (RFP) documents aligned with government requirements.
  • Evaluate Supplier Proposals: Analyze supplier responses, including terms and conditions exceptions, conducting price/cost analysis.
  • Administer Subcontracts: Manage subcontracts of varying complexity.
  • Identify and Resolve Issues: Offer recommendations for moderate to complex subcontract performance issues.
  • Perform Subcontract Close-Out: Ensure smooth closure of subcontract agreements.
  • Mitigate Risks: Analyze risks and propose strategies for risk management.
  • Interface with Stakeholders: Act as the primary point of contact between subcontractors and our Program Management Teams.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Regularly engage with program management, contracts, project control, finance, business development, and customers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement and subcontract administration (10+ years without a bachelor’s degree).
  • Strong understanding of government contracts.
  • Knowledge of applicable FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and related federal and state regulations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of all available cost/price analysis concepts and methodologies and the ability to employ them.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exhibit critical thinking and analytical skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Eligible for a DoD security clearance.
