The position will work directly with the assigned VP Project Management and is accountable for project support of operational procedures, specifically construction activities as it relates to project documentation, monitoring, and coordination of project completion according to the budget, time and quality standards.

Direct Responsibilities:

Maintenance of ALL related project documentation

Liaison with project General Contractor and client on behalf of VP Project Management as directed

Participates in scheduled project meetings

Assists the VP Project Management in conflict resolutions

Assists the VP Project Management in managing Change Orders

Assists the VP Project Management with other daily responsibilities as directed.

Participate and document Punch lists and manage their completion

Manage and respond to internal inquiries from Accounting, Legal and Capital in a timely manner

Manages Close Out process and documentation making it a priority

Travel will be expected from time to time depending on need and urgency

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in commercial construction
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and project management software
  • Organized and detail oriented with strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to support multiple projects in parallel and prioritize competing demands
  • Strong work ethic and ability to be flexible and multi-task
  • Collaborative skill sets
