Job Summary

The Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating engineering activities on multi-discipline projects under supervision from Engineering leadership. This role will serve as the common link between the Engineering team and Operations team, ensuring seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in preparation of the project schedule, evaluation of subcontractor bids, and negotiation of contracts with Design Professionals.
* Collaborate with the Engineering team to monitor the engineering deliverable schedule and ensure the project schedule stays on track.
* Support one or more projects and proposals at a time under senior engineering manager's supervision.
* Collect and organize questions from the team and subcontractors to be presented to the client via Requests for Information (RFIs).
* Participate in subcontractor scope clarification and provide Value Engineering evaluation of conceptual design.
* Review and audit engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with company and client requirements.
* Prepare Engineering Work Orders for execution with Engineering Consultants.
* Track and monitor design progress of engineered drawing deliverables and technical submittals.
* Arrange for Phase I Environmental / Geotechnical Evaluations / Topographical Surveys as required.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related major preferred, or equivalent and direct renewable energy construction experience.
* ~3 to 5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
* Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical documents.
* Ability to interact professionally with all levels within the organization and with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Primavera, Procore, InEight, and other Construction Software.
* Write reports, business correspondence, and document project activities.
* Effectively present information and respond to questions from engineering managers, project managers, superintendents, clients, customers, and the general public.
