Responsibilities
The Corporate Account Manager at Valmet will play a key role in building and maintaining solid commercial relationships with our key customers by understanding their needs and providing the right solutions. In this challenging role you have the responsibility for coordinating of new equipment, upgrades, and Services for Paper, Board, Tissue, Automation, Flow Control, and Pulp and Energy lines through close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and supply chain, to meet the highest levels of service.

Requirements

You will need a Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university in paper science, engineering; or equivalent experience combined with a strong technical background with minimum of 10 years of paper industry experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

To be successful in this role, in-depth knowledge of Valmet equipment, solutions, products and services is essential. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Willingness to travel in North America as required to meet business requirements and the capacity to accommodate the availability of our colleagues located in other time zones with occasional international travel as necessary.

Expectations

A minimum of bachelor's degree in mechanical, process, chemical engineering, or related discipline. Experience working in the the Pulp and Paper Industry. Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time domestically as well as internationally.
