Job Summary:

Directs and coordinates accounting and fiscal reporting functions for the organization including accounting and financial systems, annual audit, financial statement preparation, cash planning, budget preparation, and third party reimbursement analysis. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Master's Degree in business administration: Preferred
  • Seven years' experience in relevant field: Preferred
  • Five years' leadership experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA): Preferred
Essential Functions:
  • Monitors finances towards effective and economical utilization of personnel, materials, and equipment. Monitors, assesses and facilitates improvement of the performance of services provided.
  • Establishes objectives to facilitate achievement of organizational goals. Establishes budget aligned with organizational goals.
  • Provides adequate orientation, training and continuing education to assure staff are competent in job responsibilities, to promote professional development, and to assure a safe environment for employees and customers.
  • Monitors employee performance in order to ensure high quality service and efficient and effective work processes.
  • Participates in the decision to hire new personnel and in candidate evaluation.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

The estimated base pay for this position is $114,359 to $171,538. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through years of experience, differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
