Job Summary:
**Duties**:

- Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff in the shipping department
- Provide scheduling/work direction to shipping personnel.
- Coordinate and prioritize daily shipping activities
- Oversee inventory control, materials handling, and shipping receiving processes
- Utilize Epicor system for tracking shipments and maintaining accurate records
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations in all shipping operations
- Monitor shipment schedules to meet customer delivery requirements
- Identify and correct obstacles that would interfere with shipping schedules.
- People supervisory duties such as approving timecards, counseling employees, coaching, training, career development, performance management and other supervisory tasks as required by the organization.
- Instruct/train employees within department to include new hires and transfers plus cross-train individuals within the department
- Distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.
- Transport and loads materials, parts, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks, skids, and or with forklift.
- Performs other related duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in a shipping environment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and distribution processes
- Familiarity with Epicor or similar inventory management systems
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve performance targets
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues is a plus

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
