As a Sr. ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB Specialist you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Discovery processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is captured, supporting various IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and enhancing overall organizational efficiency. Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) each and every week. This resource will be required to work from one of the following Equifax office locations - Saint Louis, Alpharetta, Boise, or Reston. What you’ll do Responsible for being a subject matter expert for CMDB and Asset Discovery using the ServiceNow platform.

Lead the design and implementation of the CMDB in ServiceNow, ensuring it aligns with organizational needs and best practices.

Collaborate with product and service owners to align on CMDB and Discovery needs using the ServiceNow ITOM product and grow the operational relevance of the CMDB in alignment with stakeholder requirements and best practices.

Partner with IT Asset Management teams to align discovery trend data with asset lifecycle management data requirements.

Establishes strong partner relationships with internal stakeholders, educates on best practices, and manages a pipeline of enhancements to the ServiceNow platform that will allow for measurable and repeatable outcomes that reduce the workload required to keep CMDB records maintained.

Identifies, prototypes, tests, and releases solutions that are future-proof, customer centric, adoptable, and addresses key asset lifecycle needs.

Cultivating relationships, customer centricity, and a passion for establishing workflows that automate or simplify processes.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to CMDB data accuracy, completeness, and usability.

Implement automation and orchestration solutions to streamline data collection and ensure real-time updates to the CMDB.

Develop training materials and conduct sessions for end-users, ensuring they understand the importance of CMDB data and how to interact with the system.

Implement and maintain processes to regularly audit CMDB data for accuracy and compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.

Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with other ITSM tools and third-party systems.

What experience you need 7+ years in IT infrastructure.

4+ years of CMDB/Discovery in ServiceNow.

Experience leading CMDB-related projects from initiation to completion.

Expert analysis, troubleshooting, technical and non-technical communication skills, both verbal and written.

Knowledge of Public Cloud environments - GCP, AWS, Azure.

Knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, LDAP, Single-Sign-on, authentication, user and group policy objects, and permission levels OR knowledge of UNIX or Linux Server administration, including user permission levels, SUDO virtualization, including VMware, containerization, and Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.

IP Networks, subnets and related network knowledge.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

What could set you apart Active Cloud Certification strongly preferred.

ServiceNow Discovery Certification.

Experience in the banking industry or any regulated industry.

Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.) for customization and automation.

Demonstrated ability to innovate and solve complex problems related to CMDB and Discovery processes.
