We are seeking a Foreclosure Specialist experienced in mortgage default and foreclosure laws and regulations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the foreclosure process for delinquent loans. This includes reviewing loan documents, communicating with borrowers, filing legal paperwork, and coordinating property inspections. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of foreclosure laws and regulations, as well as a commitment to minimizing losses for the company while helping borrowers understand their options and rights throughout the foreclosure process.

In this role, you will:

  • Retrieve and process data and requests from partner state attorneys
  • Prepare foreclosure files for referral to attorney
  • Communicate daily with attorneys, paralegals and title companies
  • Identify, research, and assist in resolving title issues.
  • Assist with the foreclosure process for all Judicial and Non-Judicial filing for all partner states.
  • Calculate and preparation of foreclosure judgment figures and state required documents
  • Generate bidding instructions needed for sale


Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years foreclosure or mortgage default related experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong professional and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced multi-tasking and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to read legal terms and conditions and understand their meaning
  • Knowledge of mortgage servicing, and federal and state laws related to foreclosure processes
  • 1-3 years foreclosure or mortgage default related experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of mortgage loan documentation, best servicing practices regarding foreclosure processing, default/foreclosure laws and regulations preferred
