Position Overview:

The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator provides general clerical and administrative HR and payroll processing. Process payroll on a biweekly basis. Works with supervisors to ensure time and attendance entries included missed punches are corrected and completed by required deadlines; processing time off requests and other payroll related duties. Handles confidential, information on a regular basis. Prepares and updates employment records related to recruiting, hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Payroll and Time & Attendance Support:
Reviews missed punches on a daily basis and ensures supervisors correct missed punches by the weekly submittal deadline.
Runs HRIS reports to ensure that new hires, status changes and terminations are captured on the Payroll Register prior to payroll submittal.
Check attendance line/email and log call-offs.
Manage time and attendance in Kronos. Ensure all missed punches are fixed and time off requests have been entered for the existing pay period prior to submittal to corporate.
Reviews attendance points within the Time & Attendance system prints disciplinary action and submits forms to supervisor to deliver to manager. Follows up with supervisor to ensure the form has been delivered, signed and returned to HR. Notifies HR Manager if any supervisor is not complying with the process.
Organizes and distributes manual pay checks and ACH statements to employees.
Prepares final checks and paperwork in a timely manner

Administrative:
Completes new hire orientation and new hire onboarding on ADP.
Review Status Change Forms to ensure all information is completed and all required signatures are on the form.
Enter all status change information into the HRIS/payroll system.
Respond to employee requests for login and password reset
Maintain all personnel files on ADP.
Maintain and update human resources documents, such as company policies, employment records, employee handbooks, and performance evaluation etc.

Requirements:

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related field.
PHR or SHRM-CP, preferred

Experience
Bilingual Proficient English & Spanish
2 years of experience in Payroll
Experience with HRIS/Payroll platform required; ADP WorkforceNow preferred
Ability to organize, prioritize, and reorder workload in a dynamic environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent problem solving ability
Ability to meet deadlines with little supervision
Detail-oriented
