St John WA has an opportunity for a
Resource Planning and Scheduling Manager
to join our State Control & Logistics department on a
Permanent Full-Time
basis.
The Manager of Resource Planning and Scheduling oversees resource planning, operational establishment, rostering, workforce scheduling, and management of operational leave.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with line manager to achieve Resource Planning & Scheduling objectives/KPIs.
Manage Operational Establishment for compliance.
Communicate performance metrics to line manager regularly.
Manage function budget and provide rationale for variances.
Maintain department policies, processes, and SOPs.
Develop strategies to support function leads.
Review systems, processes, and identify improvement opportunities.
Lead the team to meet operational demand.
Manage and develop direct reports.
Be an approachable leader within the department.
Requirements:
Prioritization and delegation skills.
Experience in resource planning, scheduling, and leave management.
Experience in 24/7 operations is desirable.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Experience in leading diversified teams.
Knowledge of relevant systems and tools.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
