We were pioneers in executing rotary screw technology in air compressors and teamed up with Dow Chemical to produce one of the industrys longest-lasting compressor fluids. Now, as part of a larger compressor portfolio, we continue to innovate and lead in our field. The Supplier Quality Engineer will be 100% in charge of PPAP creation, review, and documentation tied to PPAPs. This person will receive supplier deviations through the PPAP email inbox and an assigned part with its picture. Another team will handle data collection and investigation. The Supplier Quality Engineer will validate the PPAP, communicate with suppliers via email and calls, collaborate with internal engineers, and confirm the PPAP submission in the PPAP folder. The role involves 30% travel, primarily to customer sites in the USA for PPAP validations. The focus areas for PPAPs include fabrication, machining, wire harness, tubing, piping, injection molding, and pressure tanks.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Michigan City, Indiana.

Work Environment

This role will be primarily a desk job with occasional travel to customer sites once a month. The candidate will have their own cubicle upstairs with the product team. The work hours are flexible, between 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
