The Universal Banker leads retail and operational efforts in the branch by providing services to customers in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner while maintaining the confidentiality of the bank’s records and customer transactions.

Educates customers about products, services, and refers the appropriate products and services matching the clients’ needs based upon the client conversation.

Also responsible for processing regular transactions, such as receiving and paying out money and keeping records of cash and negotiable instruments involved in financial transactions.

Accepts and processes consumer loan requests for approval and refers mortgage and commercial request to the appropriate branch partners.

Efficiency, accuracy, and friendliness are critically required.

This position will help achieve growth and service goals daily by opening new deposit accounts, personal and business alike while accepting consumer loan applications and referring mortgage and commercial applications to the appropriate branch partners.

In addition, the Universal Banker II is responsible for balancing the cash, staying within policy cash limits, complying with regulations and other company policies.

Must have High Diploma or GED.
