Description

The Role The Business Development Director is responsible for building new business for The Instant Group across our product categories within a given territory. This role will engage with prospective clients at a functional leader or C-suite level, identifying value to their businesses through our flexible workspace solutions and ensuring world class service.

What will you be doing? Own and achieve/exceed annual sales targets to expand our client base within established territory Become an expert at articulating our value propositions and communicate them effectively through presentations and proposals Network effectively within geographic territory to establish expertise in the flexible space industry Build and maintain strong customer relationships Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives to qualify their needs for our products Understand market and industry landscapes and trends Collaborate with rest of sales teams & marketing team to evolve marketing collateral and messaging Collaborate with product owners to share voice of customer feedback and ensure our solutions are driving value Ensure operational excellence in the day-to-day management of the business including forecasting and managing sales pipeline Develop and implement best practices to maximize pipeline creation, conversion rates, forecasting accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration

Who are we looking for? 7-10 years of relevant experience BA/BS degree in business, marketing, real estate or related field Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets to drive new business Familiarity with outreach tools and solutions as mechanisms to drive more client acquisition Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level Proven ability to drive sales processes from plan to close Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills Excellent verbal and written communications skills
