Execution of underwriting strategies for new and renewal business including catastrophe management. Management of underwriting referral process, enterprise process and coordination of accounts that fall outside of branch authority.Sales and Distribution: Assessment of the territory and identification of opportunities across all CI segments based on the industries represented in the region. New Business Pipeline development and management through the targeted use of CI tools (PROV1, CI Prime, Tracker 2.0) Development of sales and marketing strategies to ensure effective positioning of CI products and services. Collaboration with the Branch Manager and Marketing Manager to leverage producer relationships strategically and effectively. Primary responsibility for producer management, marketplace visibility, effective travel, and coordination with remote resources for the CI team. Coordination and execution of customer focus through stewardship and direct customer engagement.Staff Development and Leadership: In coordination with HR, accountability for developing a pipeline of talent to fill anticipated and unexpected vacancies. Consistent coaching and skill development for all CIS staff working in Tampa market. Accountability for perpetuating a positive, collaborative, and diverse work environment.
