We are looking for an IT super hero who wants to grow with our growing company

We currently have 150 employees and are looking to do a 10+ state expansion down the road This department is currently a one-person IT team with most of the support outsourced to MSP's.

We currently have (2) separate Azure cloud networks, (1) AWS and 5-6 on-prem servers & would like to consolidate all (3) into 1 cloud network. The database is already set up and functioning.

We are looking :

Experience Required

  • 7-10 years of experience in Information Technology management with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • 5-7 years of experience leading a technical group.
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Management or equivalent work experience
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)- Highly preferred

Primary Position Responsibilities

  • Works closely with Information Technology leadership, business leaders and vendors to develop and maintain information security programs aligned with business strategy.
  • Develops and maintains policies, procedures, and standards related to the selection, implementation, support and administration of technology and information security.
  • Develops and reports on relevant metrics related to information security and department performance.
  • Mentors Information Security leadership.
  • Negotiates security hardware, software and service-related contracts.
  • Develops and ensures adherence to annual capital and operating budgets.
  • Ensures compliance with security software license provisions.
  • Manages relationships with Information Security vendors.
  • Ensures adequate disaster recovery, data protection and business continuity planning are performed for our technology infrastructure.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Establishes and maintains Information Security Handbook, procedures, and guidelines. Responsible for reporting suspected information security incidents to CIO/CSO.
  • Manages O365 and Azure environments, onboarding/offboarding, Active Directory, and provisioning of hardware/software.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Information Security Manager
  • IT Helpdesk
  • Recruits, interviews, hires and trains management-level staff.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Manages third party vendor staff and project staff.

Experience Preferred

  • Experience working with security standards and frameworks such as C2M2, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA.
  • Intake note: familiar with healthcare auditing processes or HC enrollment
