Now Hiring a Purchasing Manager Temp to Hire Location:

Pomona, CA Schedule:

6 am - 2:30 pm Supervise assigned staff including establishing and communicating performance expectations, provide positive and constructive feedback, conduct performance reviews and determine training. Purchase required items identified in the Made2Manager system que for specific jobs while maintaining all inventory levels. Purchase identified items on the pick list that are not in the Made2Manage que and/or make corrections to the inventory. Verify prices and delivery times. Requires degree in Accounting, Business or related field. Six years of experience in a supervisory role within a purchasing department. Must have manufacturing environment experience. Bilingual is a plus Responsibilities: - Manage supplier relationships, including sourcing new suppliers and evaluating existing ones - Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with suppliers to ensure favorable terms for the company - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory control team to ensure optimal stock levels - Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to track purchasing activities and maintain accurate records - Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay updated on industry trends - Assist in the development of purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency - Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely payment of invoices Experience: - Proven experience in manufacturing environment - Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies for raw materials such as metals - Familiarity with contracts, negotiation, and vendor management - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping If you are a motivated individual with a passion for procurement and supply chain management, we invite you to apply for the position of Purchasing Coordinator.
