Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.Job DescriptionThe Sr Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialists will facilitate and manage the transport of customer vehicles to and from Manheim auction sites and other areas in the region as assigned.Day Shift - Monday -Friday (8am - 5pm CST) (Open to DFW or San Antonio Location)Role and Responsibilities •Serves as Logistics point of contact for a number of auction locations. •Develops working relationships with BPO's, auction representatives, and carriers •Uses problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues, escalating difficult issues that arise. •Prioritizes daily tasks and completes tasks in an accurate and efficient manner. •Communicates and collaborates effectively with the various departments supporting the overall business / Logistics process. •Communicates with various auction teams and stakeholders to ensure coordinated movement of vehicles through the auction process. •Investigates and systemically resolves emerging issues, ensuring lessons learned drive future customer interaction. •Notifies customer account representatives and relevant transporter of vehicle transportation issues. Skills Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, BPO's and carriersWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as operational tools, i.e. IMT, Tru Tool, Pickup 22 ToolExcellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skillsEffective problem-solving skills.Self-motivatedAbility to work effectively across teamsContinuous improvement mindsetWillingness to work outside of assigned region; ability to work across all regions within the organizationAdministration:Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse carriers and teams with diverse personalities, during high pressure scenarios, within extremely tight deadlinesWork effectively on multiple assignments, activities, and projectsDevelop and maintain key processes established by the businessEnsure timely and effective problem resolutionMaintain monthly scorecard and establish consistent cadence with carrier performance reviewsMust have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Salesforce experience a plusQualifications:High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience in a related field.OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 3 years' experience.OR 7 years' experience in a related fieldPreferred:Strong organizational skills and demonstrated capacity to develop and implement practical strategies, plans, and solutions to identified issues and problems.Track record of taking initiative in managing multiple priorities and working effectively under pressure when facing extremely short deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Good judgment, discretion, tact and the ability to work easily at all levels within the organization.Ability to partner well with colleagues in a matrixed work environment.Ability to work independently and to undertake responsibilities with minimal guidance.Adapting approach and comfortable with ambiguity.Must be adept at handling complex situations and businesses.Drug TestingTo be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test.
