At Ford, we’re all a part of something bigger than ourselves. Are you ready to change the way the world moves? Product Development uses design thinking & user experience methods to deliver breakthrough products and services that delight our customers. We bring innovative, exciting, and sustainable ideas to life. We have opportunities around the world for you to contribute to advancements in autonomy, electrification, smart mobility technologies, and more In this position, a Power Distribution Electronics Subsystem functional scope consists of several hundred features/functions and their associated power input and power output electrical interfaces. In Ford electrical architectures, there are solid state power distribution electronics controllers (Power Distribution Controllers, Zonal Modules, etc.) which now incorporate solid state power distribution control. This functionality also includes (but is not limited to) load profile management, power bus control, Key Off Load (KOL) management, etc. The Power Distribution Electronics Subsystem Engineer is responsible for defining, owning, and enforcing these electrical power distribution interface requirements across the vehicle architectures and downstream interfacing components.
