Position Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and inventive Training Lead to spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge training programs for our direct-to-consumer sales team. This role is pivotal in navigating the challenges of a rapidly expanding industry and a geographically dispersed workforce. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of training, including curriculum development, resource creation, team management, performance evaluation, and delivering training content with a passionate and positive approach to empowering our team members to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs covering ongoing skill development, new manager training, advanced sales techniques, and manager-in-training programs, empowering employees to continuously enhance their performance and capabilities.
  • Create forward-thinking and scalable training programs tailored to the unique needs of our distributed sales team, utilizing innovative approaches and technologies to deliver engaging and impactful learning experiences.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and adaptability, encouraging sales representatives to embrace change and proactively acquire new skills and knowledge in response to industry shifts and emerging trends.
  • Drive the development of essential competencies for success in a fast-growing industry, including product knowledge, customer engagement strategies, and sales techniques optimized for a digital-first marketplace.
  • Explore unconventional training methodologies and tools to cultivate creativity and problem-solving abilities among team members, promoting out-of-the-box thinking and experimentation in sales approaches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify emerging market opportunities and develop training content and resources aligned with strategic business objectives, ensuring agility and responsiveness to market dynamics.
  • Implement metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of training initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and refining training strategies in real time.

Qualifications:

Proven Experience:
  • Over five years of successfully designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive training programs, with a focus on technology and telecommunications.
  • Managed training initiatives covering 25+ participants.
Expertise in Learning and Development:
  • Demonstrated deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and emerging trends in learning and development.
Proficiency in Instructional Design Tools:
  • Proficient in utilizing leading instructional design tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
Video Production and Design Skills:
  • Skilled in basic video production and design techniques to enhance training materials and content delivery.
Leadership and Communication:
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation abilities
Technology Integration:
  • Proficiency in leveraging technology to create dynamic and interactive training experiences, enhancing participant engagement and retention.
Analytical Mindset:
  • Possess a strategic mindset with strong analytical skills to measure program effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous enhancement.
Industry Awareness and Collaboration:
  • Committed to staying current with industry trends and best practices, fostering a collaborative work environment that promotes innovation and knowledge sharing.
Preferred Skill (Optional):
  • Mastery of door-to-door sales techniques is highly beneficial, reflecting a natural interest in sales and human communication. This includes actively observing and standardizing the framework for optimal sales pitches within the company.
