Mesa seeks a dynamic and innovative candidate to serve as our Training Department Manager.

The ideal candidate will lead/supervise/motivate the training department team to identify needed training for our various departments and Business Units.

This role is eligible to work a hybrid schedule after the completion of the probationary period.

Education/Experience:

  • Must have a 4 year degree in education, business, or related field.
  • Must have experience supervising, motivating and a leading team
  • Must have minimum of 5 years of experience in education and/or a professional development/training role
Capabilitiesshould include:
  • Ability to devise and lead marketing campaigns that engage, educate, and motivate.
  • Ability to coordinate with different business units and departments to ensure company objectives are met.
  • Must have the ability to take initiative, demonstrate superb leadership skills, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess an aptitude for developing a strong working relationship with Senior Management, other Department Managers, and departmental staff.
  • Possess a willingness to develop, promote and comply with Mesa safety requirements.
The responsibilities include, by are not limited to:
  • Ensuring the department is working well organized and advancing toward a common goal.
  • Coordinating training campaigns with BUs.
  • Deploying successful training initiatives.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of training plans.
  • Maintaining effective internal communications to ensure all relevant company areas are kept informed of marketing objectives.
  • Performing technical oversight and coordinating review of deliverables and other documents.
  • Determining staffing needs to accommodate present and forecast workload.
  • Creating training plans including budgets and schedules for the department staff.
  • Assisting senior management with budgeting for the department during annual budget preparation
  • Monitoring and adhering to yearly budgets.
