Summary
Eagle Eye Networks is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the New York City/Long Island area who is responsible for accelerating growth throughout the assigned territory. The RSM will achieve growth through; the development of a reseller channel, work with major end users, project development with Strategic/National accounts and work with regional consultants, specifying Eagle Eye in future developments. This is a hunter role. The RSM ensures profitable growth by planning and executing a territory expansion plan primarily in the security systems and IT space. Knowledge of this market and sales experience of like technologies is a plus.
Responsibilities
Achievement of sales quota monthly, quarterly, and yearly while maintaining expenses
Develop and grow the channel by prospecting and signing up new qualified resellers (Security/IT Dealers)
Build relationships and grow resellers achieving sales plans through this channel
Uncover end-user opportunities predominately through resellers and work to close
Follow-up efficiently on all leads provided to the territory
Maintain a territory-wide sales plan that provides full geographic coverage while achieving sales quota
Travel frequently and efficiently throughout the region to major customer sites
Support Eagle Eye in companywide industry meetings and exhibitions
Collaborate with team members ensuring Reseller partners are trained to sell, install/maintain our solutions
Become the face and spokesperson for Eagle Eye in your territory
Work with leadership to ensure your strategy is solid and is with keeping of the overall company goals
Work with 3rd party technology and sales partners to grow sales through and with their channels
Call on branches of Strategic Accounts within the area, work closely with colleagues in growing this channel
Develop relationships and support with consulting engineers within the region. Support their business needs
Communicate effectively with internal teams ensuring Eagle Eye business departments and leadership have a full understanding of needs and opportunities for growth
Utilize as a primary tool the CRM used by Eagle Eye ensuring it is constantly updated and maintained within company guidelines
Experience
5+ years of field sales experience, preferably in SaaS, IT or security sales with video or access systems
Successful experience selling as an employee of a major security manufacturer
Consultative/solutions sales experience with 90+ day B2B sales cycles
Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentations
Demonstrated self-confidence with high energy and enthusiasm
The highest level of ethics and professionalism always maintained
Great business judgement with the ability to make successful decisions in driving a highly profitable business
Demonstrated ability to meet/exceed a multimillion-dollar quota
