Today, Palolo Chinese Home stands as a preferred and premier provider of long-term care, catering to the diverse needs of men and women from all ethnic backgrounds in Hawaii's families.Your day to day as a Clinical ClerkAs a Clinical Clerk at Palolo Chinese Home, your primary responsibility will be to maintain resident files and provide essential administrative and secretarial support to our Administrator, Director of Nursing, and other designated departments and programs. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that medical records are complete and organized according to the Home's filing system. Additionally, you will be responsible for answering incoming phone calls, greeting visitors, and providing assistance to our residents. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. These include: A high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of clerical or administrative support experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Familiarity with assisted living and nursing staffing operations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel. Demonstrated autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities. Ability to read and write English fluently to facilitate proper communication. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and provide recommended solutions.
