? Summary of Role:

As the Director of Marketing at Fireside, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to attract, engage, and retain members. You will work closely with the leadership team to drive membership growth, increase member satisfaction, and promote Firesides mission and values. This is a unique opportunity to be a trailblazer and be on the true ground floor with a company that is building a foundation for long term success.

This person reports directly to the founders and core responsibilities are listed below:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Identify target audiences and key messaging to effectively communicate the value of membership.
  • Membership Growth: Create campaigns and initiatives to attract new members. Utilize various channels such as digital marketing, social media, email marketing, and events to increase membership numbers.
  • Retention Strategies: Develop strategies to enhance member retention rates. Implement programs to nurture member relationships, improve member satisfaction, and encourage renewals.
  • Content Creation: Create compelling content including website copy, blog posts, newsletters, and social media posts to engage both current and prospective members. Ensure all content is consistent with the company's branding and messaging.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and email marketing. Monitor performance metrics and optimize campaigns for maximum effectiveness.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and member needs. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and identify new opportunities for growth. Event Planning: Plan and oversee both in-person and virtual events, including conferences, study clubs, and serve days.
  • Brand Management: Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials. Uphold the company's reputation and identity in all communications.

???? Expectations & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in B2B marketing, experience in a membership-based organization or association a plus
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software, experience with CRM a plus
