Job Description

Duties/Tasks for Accounting Services Clients:

· Monthly bookkeeping for each client, specific to their needs:

o Maintain general ledger

o Generate invoices as needed

o Enter payments received for invoices

o Manage accounts receivable and follow up on past due amounts

o Pay accounts payable POs and enter information in financial software

o Familiarity with online systems to pull reports from various payroll processers, data management systems, various bank sites

o Perform monthly cash reconciliation

o Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed

· Perform other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications

· Working knowledge of QuickBooks Financial Software

· Proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Accuracy, strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills required

· 2 years of account keeping experience or successful completion of 12 semester credit hours in Accounting or an Associate Degree in Accounting

· Nonprofit Accounting Experience preferred

Compensation/Benefits

·

Part-time, 25-29 hours per week

· Hourly compensation: $25 – $32 per hour

· PTO: Vacation days, sick days, personal days and generous observed holidays

· Additional benefits are available to full-time staff members
