Job Title Accounting & Reporting Analyst II

Job Family Job Description This position will be accountable for preparing the monthly, quarterly and annual Americas Division financial statement reporting package and additional general accounting supplemental reporting requirements including quarterly footnote disclosure schedules, tax schedules and audit schedules. The position requires a high degree of professional accounting and technical expertise to ensure reported results comply with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations. The position functions as a business partner with plant accounting staff, Americas Headquarters functional departments and the Corporate Controller group to effectively manage and control the Americas Division financial consolidation accounting processes and procedures. The position will plan, coordinate and schedule all accounting transactions and related closing milestones for the month end close schedule. The position will create, maintain, review, edit and audit various financial transactions affecting Americas Division consolidation reporting. Assist with internal, external, Sarbanes Oxley and various other audits as required throughout the year.

Accounting and Reporting Analyst II

will have the following Key Accountabilities: Serve in the key role of preparing and reviewing Americas Division financial statements (Balance sheets, Income statements, Cash Flow, Working Capital and various other supplemental reporting). Understand actual monthly financial results. Analyze and effectively communicate reporting trend changes, significant variances and drivers. Plan and facilitate monthly accounting close activities across numerous contributing locations and functional departments. Ensure proper procedures and controls are implemented and maintained surrounding financial statements reporting, related management discussion and analysis (MD&A) and footnotes. Analyze and accurately report variances by means of preparing and maintaining various consolidation reviews and reconciliations. Reconciliations include Legal ledger to tax ledger; Corporate Debt Allocation; general ledger to cost center; cost center to profit center and profit center to consolidation. Provide key leadership and technical expertise in SAP reporting and consolidation. Reconcile and review balance sheet general ledger accounts. Prepare, post and maintain necessary accounting transactions to ensure financial statement integrity. Prepare and Analyze Americas Division’s quarterly and annual reporting used for external SEC filings and federal/state taxes. Review and compile location and functional department data into Corporate Controller reporting. Present and implement recommendations for reporting improvements to management. Support internal and external auditors with quarterly and annual audit reviews. Ensure supporting documentation, audit schedules and financial reporting requests are accurately and timely provided to the appropriate audit teams. Prepare and provide required roll forwards, explanations, variance analysis, etc. Provide leadership in audit support for responsible area of accounting transactions and consolidation reporting. Support continuous process improvement through the review and analysis of current processes, process improvement initiatives, Kaizen activities and new system implementations. Ensure new and revised accounting principles are applied appropriately.

The successful

Accounting and Reporting Analyst II

will have the following Minimum Qualifications: Four-year college degree with major in Accounting or Finance. CPA, CMA, MSA or MBA preferred, but not required. Minimum of 5 to 7 years relevant work experience. SAP experiences a plus. Accounting Knowledge - Thorough knowledge and understanding of advanced industry accounting standards, principals, concepts and theory. Presentation Skills - Strong verbal and written communication /presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively and fluently with senior management.
