The Purpose of this Role Solve one of the most critical challenges facing the Semiconductor and Electronics Industry – thermal management Join the Boston Materials team to help unlock the full potential of Z-axis Fiber technology and pave the way for groundbreaking advancements powering AI. This position offers you the opportunity to play a key role in defining manufacturing processes, scaling products for high-volume production, and ensuring seamless deployment and integration of our products in the market. As an advanced manufacturing leader, you will transition products from engineering to high-volume global manufacturing while building and mentoring a talented team of technical professionals. Your hands-on approach will be instrumental in refining processes, developing automated solutions, and deploying products into global supply chains. Your Responsibilities Develop, implement and refine internal manufacturing processes ranging from material production to component singulation and final packaging Establish, test and qualify converters and supply chain partners needed to scale products for high volume manufacturing Drive suppliers and manufacturing partners to meet quality, cost, yield and delivery goals, and ensure compliance with product and process specifications Support in the integration our products at OSAT/ODM assembly sites in APAC region Develop and implement rigorous quality control processes to ensure products meet high standards and established specifications Utilize sound engineering principles to design, implement, and scale automated and semi-automated manufacturing solutions Drive machine qualification including correlation, process capability (CP/CPK) and Gage Repeatability / Reproducibility (GR&R) Your Skills and Expertise Successful track record of bringing products from concept to high-volume manufacturing on time and within budget Experience directing and overseeing a complex chain of contract manufacturers, assemblers and manufacturing partners 7+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering in electronics or semiconductor packaging industry, preferably with 3+ years of engineering management and leadership Knowledgeable in crafting machine qualification requirements, design of experiments and failure analysis Expertise in production quality metrics, GD&T, and process/equipment qualification procedures (including calibration, correlation, capability, repeatability and reproducibility) Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver Summary of Benefits Health, Vision & Dental – Boston Materials pays 75% of Health, Vision and Dental Care coverage for employee and dependents 401(k) plan 4 weeks of supplemental Paid Parental and Family Leave Unlimited Paid Time Off Holidays: 14 days/year Boston Materials is an EOE and at the forefront of materials innovation, the key to which is diverse teams with unique backgrounds and experiences.
