The Role

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to manage World of Hyatt's brand-level social media channels, and support several additional brand-level channels. This person will be responsible for bringing World of Hyatt to life in a unique, social-first way through the creation of a mix of evergreen and campaign content in partnership with the World of Hyatt social, brand team, and agency partners. They will be responsible for working with cross-functional partners to create & schedule social media content for the World of Hyatt brand and select additional brands and their existing social media platforms. They will also ensure the content is compelling and relevant and aligns with the overall business objectives and supportive of any World of Hyatt initiatives in a social-first, platform specific manner alongside a Senior Manager & Associate Manager.

The Social Media Manager will work closely with cross-functional colleagues and departments to ensure the content on World of Hyatt's social platforms are a true reflection of the World of Hyatt.

The primary job responsibilities are:

• Strategically create, curate, and publish social media content for World of Hyatt and several other brand's social media platforms

• Creation and maintenance of quarterly evergreen strategic plans and corresponding social content calendars alongside Senior Manager

• Develop, execute, and report on integrated social strategies & campaigns, working cross-functionally with various departments to translate brand campaign objectives into social-first strategies and content plans

• Work with relevant partner agencies as needed, owning the relationship and project management of each campaign or initiative they're working on, including the feedback loop, and ensuring final output is delivered on time

• Manage the development of photography and video content shoots for World of Hyatt and select brands - leveraging content creators, influencers, and partners to create social-first content

• Source image & video content through outreach to hotels and via our asset libraries in partnership with the Associate Manager

• Execute content creator & influencer partnerships to create timely new social-first content in partnership with Global Social Teammates

• Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly social media reports

• Manage ongoing reporting of influencer performance

• Leverage user-generated content into evergreen social media content via partner tools in unique ways on a quarterly basis

• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive awareness, engagement, and traffic through social media content and paid advertising to meet business goals

• Strategize and manage ongoing monthly paid social campaigns on select platforms for World of Hyatt in partnership with Paid Social Media Manager

• Light community management and ensuring consumer requests are dealt with by Global Care Center in a timely manner and any questions/comments are proactively responded to during business hours or an important campaign launch

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to marketing and brand communication

• Work collaboratively with regional and global social media teams to ensure content and campaign efforts are efficient and consistent

• Monitor, track, and analyze social media performance metrics, track KPIs, and provide regular reporting and insights to inform strategy and decision-making

• Identify new trends and opportunities to develop social-first pilots for World of Hyatt monthly

• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness elevate our social strategy and stay on top of the latest social media trends

• Experiment with new engagement tactics, content formats, and community-building initiatives, measuring their impact and iterating based on feedback and results

• Stay up-to-date on social media trends, tools, and best practices, incorporating new strategies and features into our social media efforts

• Share feedback, case studies, best practices, and learnings from insights gained from community management, content reports, and social listening

• Be an ongoing social media advocate for corporate and hotel colleagues

Qualifications:
Experience Required:

• Minimum of 6-9 years of experience in a social media management role

• In-depth knowledge and experience in both social media and traditional marketing

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications, English or technology-related

• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with both organic and paid social media content on key platforms

• Strong familiarity with Sprinklr or similar social media management tools

• Ability to work with a variety of partners and team members across different projects

• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment & meet changing deadlines on multiple projects

• Attention to detail & ability to multitask

• Strong project management skills

• Up to date on relevant cultural events

• Works well under pressure & has a flexible & positive attitude

• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

Experience Preferred:

• Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills

• Experience with Photoshop or additional photo editing tools for content creation is a plus

• Passion for travel, emerging social platforms, and digital trends

• At least 2 years of experience managing a team
