Job Summary
As the Human Resources Manager (HR BP Manager), you support the HR BP Director, HR BP VP, and assigned business partner groups. At times, you may serve as a proxy for the HR BP Director. In a very human way, you balance the responsibility of the employee experience with critical business needs. You are a trusted advisor for the business, and an advocate for the people, with the commitment of bringing to life Comcast’s inclusive culture for the employees you support. Your primary objective within your business group is to support the HR VP and Directors to ensure we have the right people, in the right roles, with the right skills, at the right time while planning for future talent needs as the business continues to shift. You work to develop, cultivate, attract, and move the talent of today to be ready for the needs of tomorrow. Role expectations: Data-driven storyteller focused on how human capital can help drive business results. Ability to lead with balanced empathy and have the tough conversations that others might shy away from. Leader that focuses on & fosters an inclusive culture. Ability to help support balanced decisions that are right for the business, the workforce, and the company.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Create quarterly operations review packages for HRVPs which show trends and highlight opportunities
Ad-hoc analyses and forward-looking trends
HR team data coach & Workday expert
Brings forward innovative ideas based on data analysis including internal and external benchmarking
Leads cross functional teams and projects related to HR initiatives that impact all aspects of the region or function; supports and executes local, Division and Corporate projects and initiatives.
Coordinates all annual processes including merit and annual performance management
Coordinates mandatory compliance of standard HR initiatives (Integrity Training, etc.)
Ensures compliance to local, state and federal regulations and regional lead on internal/external audits
Counsels, orientates and trains managers and supervisors on the interpretation and administration of Human Resources policies. Administers Human Resources policies and procedures as they pertain to all employees.
Oversees, handles and manages Employee Relations issues. Assists with employee counseling, discipline and grievance handling.
Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to maintain efficient and effective services.
Manages direct reports. Ensures compliance with state, local and federal guidelines and policies to protect the business and it's employees.
Partners with management to ensure strategic HR goals, policies and programs are aligned with business initiatives.
Administers compensation programs and assists in job analysis, job evaluation and performance management to ensure compliance with division guidelines.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Bachelor's Degree
