**POSITION DETAILS**

*Expect your typical day as a Sales Consultant in our Commercial Lines department to be focused on the following initiatives:*

* *Revenue growth*: Achieve annual new business revenue goals through a consultative sale process, manage lifecycle of sales process for Property & Casualty insurance prospects, develop & present proposals, lead sales presentations, seek & strategize cross-sales opportunities with all departments.

* *Business development*: Generate leads through prospect research, personal relationships, referral, and networking, create & maintain a sales pipeline to expand the book of business and meet annual sales initiatives, qualify prospects back on sales discovery guidelines

* *Account management:* conduct proactive client renewal process, provide insurance program coverage recommendations/improvements, coordinate additional sales and renewal efforts with team members

* *Leadership*: Serve as the lead on sales efforts, as well as renewal process for accounts credited to their name

* Minimum 3 years of successful Property & Casualty insurance sales experience required.

* Property & Casualty agency license required

* Bachelors degree preferred

* Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance principles and practices

* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure

* Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere
