Deliver and pickup food and supplies in an emergency. + Assume responsibilities for the assigned department. + Assist with recipe testing and product development. + Keep daily records of all food and non-food supplies used in assigned department for inventory records. + Maintain accurate food production records for the assigned department. + Prepare and serve food for outside activities. + Compute food requirements for meals. + Maintain freezers and storage areas in an orderly manner. + Thaw and cool foods in compliance with proper sanitation guidelines. + Ensure proper food temperatures and documentation are kept. Calibrate thermometers as necessary. + In addition to assigned meal preparation, assist with food preparation in all areas of the kitchen. + Basic computer skills. + Perform such other duties as assigned by manager. Desired Qualifications: Ability to move or lift at least 50 pounds as needed, have a valid driver's license, basic computer skills, basic math skills, knowledge of measuring conversions, safety and health regulations and knowledge of the Child Nutrition Program requirements. Must complete educational courses including ServSafe. 7.5 HOURS PER DAY
