Requirements

Position: Prep Cook - Sky Lodge and Powder Landing

Position Type: Full Time Year Round, Hourly

Reporting To: Executive Chef

Performance Expectations:

  • Responsible for leading the prep kitchen team in daily tasks; opening/closing, cleanliness, and positive cohesion as a team.
  • Work directly with F&B manager for staffing and scheduling needs.
  • Develop and keep current a flow plan that maximizes the use of the commissary kitchen for all outlets.
  • Plan and execute daily menu and daily offerings.
  • Adherence to early morning starts and potential late evenings.
Role Specific Qualifications:
  • Strong understand of safe use of kitchen equipment: ovens, grills, fryers, knives
  • Current Utah Food Handlers Permit (required)
  • 2 years Kitchen Management
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40+ lbs.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8+ hours).
  • Continual use of manual dexterity for safe us of knives, slicers, mixers, pots, pans, other sharp objects, electrical shocks, etc.
