Under direct supervision of a Bank Manager or Market Manager, responsible for recommending Associated Bank products to existing customers and prospects. Responsible for expanding and deepening customer relationships by identifying customers' needs comprehensively and matching their needs recommending appropriate deposit, lending, digital and other services. Provide exceptional customer service through efficient and accurate processing of customer transactions and fulfilling service requests. Support the operational integrity of the branch. A colleague in this role may be asked to work in more than one branch location to support a culture of flexibility and mobility to meet the expectations of our branch and customers. This position requires a credit check per 12 CFR Chapter X, Part 1026, Truth in Lending, Regulation Z. Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering and S.A.F.E. Act requirements. Must submit required information to meet registry requirements, obtain a unique identifier, and maintain the registration requirements as directed by the S.A.F.E Act. This person will also: Recommend bank products to new and existing customers, following the company sales process while accurately following established bank procedures. Identify needs and refer customers to business partners within and across lines of business who can best meet those needs. Open deposit and loan accounts, verify and process changes to existing accounts, answer customer questions and resolve related account problems. Requires understanding of sales, products, benefits, account ownership, forms, and procedures. Ensure that new accounts are properly processed and cross-sell opportunities are identified and pursued. Develop financial expertise and familiarity with the bank's products and services to identify client needs, presenting solutions through product benefits, answering questions, completing the sale, and nurturing relationships, personally committing to consistently exceed customer expectations with each client interaction. Grow assets under management by developing new business through proactive sales efforts with both existing clients and new customers. Participates in joint appointments to further develop relationships. Banker may be assigned a customer book of business where they are responsible for growth and retention. Establish good working rapport and creditability with other coworkers. Provides guidance to other Banker colleagues to help develop proactive sales activities and act as a subject matter expert to help mentor and guide bankers to provide excellent customer service and identify sales opportunities. Attend bank level meetings to provide business sales updates and to identify and communicate sales opportunities. Participate in community and business functions/group as needed to ensure a positive image for the bank within their market place. Maintain sufficient proficiency and accuracy in Teller operations to perform all teller related transactions while exceeding customer expectations. Opening or closing of retail bank, performing routine functions in preparation of the start or end of day's activities. Education High School Diploma. Required Experience 2-4 years Sales and goal based environment or related. Required 1 year of experience as a Branch Banker. Required 3-5 years Working in a sales and goals based environment with strong customer service focus. Preferred Licenses and Certifications Other Banker Certification within 6 months.
