Job Description: The successful candidate will be charged with providing regulatory support to assist the Eagle Asset Team in complying with state and local regulations. The candidate will work closely with management, operations, and other professionals to clearly define regulatory issues and develop solutions. The candidate must be able to effectively interact with agency representatives to resolve compliance issues. Experience with drilling, completions and producing asset regulatory permits is preferred. This position will report to the Regulatory Compliance Manager in Houston, TX and will be responsible for regulatory compliance in the development of South Texas. The successful candidate will be in Houston, Texas.

Must have's: 5 + years regulatory experience Filing completions reports / CID Texas regulatory experience Team player (not an individual contributor). Self-starter / can work without direction (manager has no time to train)

Responsibilities: Prepares and submits completion reports and supporting documents to the RRC, and verifies that chemical disclosure lists have been uploaded to Frac Focus Monitors correspondence from the RRC to verify classification of, production volume, lease identification and delinquent production notification and provide timely response back to RRC. Works with subsurface team to request as-drilled plats from surveyors and provide compliance review for perf recommendations. Specifically ensure that we have no concerns with SWR 37, SWR 10 and subsurface easements. Role is to review and proof what was permitted to be drilled, against what was drilled, and to advise if the wellbore is in a legal location prior to completion. Reviews proration schedule and submits necessary documentation to maintain allowable. Tracks, compiles, and submits well logs for RRC following confidentiality period. Monitors status of regulatory submittals and follows up with regulatory agencies to ensure timely submittals and approvals and maintains permit records. Assists in the development of compliance systems and documents to ensure ongoing communication of compliance issues to Eagle Regulatory Compliance Manager and Asset Team Understands current regulations and their impact on the Eagle Asset as well as assists with REx regulation interpretations and filings. Establish and maintain good working relationships to help ensure Marathon lives its values with key stakeholders, including team members, contract companies, regulatory agencies, and members of the public. Prepares and submits Texas Railroad Commission (TRRC) forms which may include W-2, G-10, and W-10 and P-16 reports. Compiles and tracks regulatory filings associated with notice of violations and severances, etc. Complies and tracks assigned lease identifications relating to well reclassification. Responsible for compiling and submitting documentation associated with SWR 3.65 for Critical Infrastructure Designation Work closely with regulatory agencies in the assigned operating area. Act as a back-up for ordering well signs and works with operations to have them properly placed at all well and lease locations. Completes data input for regulatory tracking database and runs necessary reports. Assumes position in on-call rotations. Maintains familiarity with Asset's emergency response plans and incident command system and fulfills role in the Asset's incident command structure as assigned. Handles initial and subsequent H-9 production filings to the RRC for H2S concentrations. Timely closure of tasks assigned in Essential to track Regulatory Compliance. Experience in compiling and submitting injection permit applications and filing subsequent paperwork such as H-5's Familiarity with Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) applications and familiarity with H-12 and H-13 forms Handles semi-annual filings of our Critical Infrastructure CI-D Forms and works with Operations to schedule audits with the field as it relates to Winterization Implementation. Work to track and close out corrective actions and coordinate and implement a process to provide direction when new are brought online in determining if they will meet the criteria as critical. New identified will be verified and work with Operations to ensure they are added to the list for winterization. Act as owner of our EOP and track changes that may occur to facility designation. Project work on evaluating existing leases against POD and addressing acreage assignments.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree preferred. 5 plus experience preferred with knowledge & familiarity with TRRC, Frac Focus and Well View systems. Excellent oral and written communications, teamwork, planning & organizational skills. Proficiency with the Office: Excel, Word, Access, etc.; Adobe Acrobat 5% travel to local fields and/or to attend offsite training.
