SUMMARY: Manage the implementation of the Kroger contract with a strong focus on growth and reverse logistics optimization while regularly monitoring and acting on account health. This position requires a strong blend of customer focus, stakeholder management and exceptional communication skills, analytical acumen, and the ability to consistently drive results and push boundaries. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Exceed assigned volume budget through management of Reusable Packaging Containers (RPCs) utilization compliance & new commodity conversions. In conjunction with the IFCO Commodity Management and Kroger Produce Merchandising teams, define and drive the implementation of the growth plan through conversion of produce commodities to RPCs, tracking and progressing opportunities in Sales Force. Work cross functionally, internally and with Kroger, to determine when business case analysis is required to convert new commodities into RPCs, defining the methodology (including Case Studies) and timeline for a go/ no go decision. In conjunction Supply Chain and Operations, internally and with Kroger, optimize the reverse logistics network through compliant RPC returns from store to salvage sites and ultimately back to IFCO. Support the change management process and material (i.e. presentations, workshops, webinars…) to increase awareness of the RPC Program at Kroger, Kroger’s produce vendor community and internally at IFCO. Support Kroger on the development of an accurate and predictive forecast process to improve information sharing and planning among Kroger, Kroger’s Produce Vendors and IFCO, to optimize RPC utilization and service levels. Work cross functionally to develop and implement Digital cold chain tracking trials Collaborate and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Grower Sales, Operations, Asset Management, Customer Service, Finance to align all aspects, KPIs and measures of the Produce RPC Program with Kroger. Develop and maintain strong and wide network across the Kroger organization (Produce Merchandising and Fresh, SC, Retail Ops., ESG, Technology/ Digital) to ensure the RPC Program remains a strategic priority. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: 4-year degree in Business, Agriculture, Supply Chain & Logistics, or related. Proven experience (4+ years) in Sales, Key Account Management or Purchasing in Produce, Retail, Supply Chain, Pooling or related roles (i.e. consulting). Project management certifications or experience. Proven ability to build strong trusted working relationships with internal and external business partners and executive level management. In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain principles, Produce and/ or Retail. Proven certification or experience in complex negotiations SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: Highly motivated and self-started individual with a ‘can do’ attitude and ownership of responsibilities/ accounts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Results oriented, proactive, and solutions-oriented style with demonstrated strength in collaboration and problem solving. Exceptional planning and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to leverage data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and process improvements.
